What a day today has been! We made an appointment for a realtor to come by and see about putting our house up for sale. The way the market is today, we were SHOCKED at how low we'd have to price it just to have people want to take a gander at it, let alone want to purchase it! Needless to say, I'm still in extreme sticker shock.....
On the flip side we are flying high that Greg got his promotion and will be on his way up! Only one tiny little problem, they have to go to New Mexico for at least two years. Now if we could only talk them into leaving those two darling grandbabies of ours here with us, all would be golden!
This will be the first time we are all separated and although its not the end of the world, its sure gonna change it quite a bit! No more popping in to say hi, no more spur of the moment dinners, no more keeping the girls while they do date night, no more dropping them off to run to the grocery store.....this list could go on forever! Why does life have to be so freakin' hard?!?
My day has been one of extremes, and I think its time to call it a night.

I'm so sorry Barbara. You've had a tough day indeed. We are in the same situation trying to sell a house. We are asking less than we paid for it, plus will have to pay a realtor. Its enough to make me sick some days. Hugs to you.
