Happy Earth Day!

What will you do to preserve this beautiful thing we call Earth?

Here are just a few things on my 'short list' that we do everyday:
* use washable/reuseable grocery bags
* use low/no phosphate laundry/dishwashing soaps
* use a reusable water bottle/thermos & use filtered tap water
* recycle cardboard, junk mail, paper wrappers & cups, plastics, etc.
* use homemade sprays that won't harm the birds or essential insects
* pull weeds instead of chemically spraying
* walk to the corner grocery store instead of driving
* pick up trash others leave behind
* water the lawn in the early morning hours 2 times per week for 15 mins.

And the things I need to work on:

* rid my home of aerosol sprays
* buy fewer groceries that are packaged in plastics

If you already incorporate some of these very same things into your daily routines, kuddos! If not, its never too late to start. Remember that future generations depend on us to preserve this Earth and all its glory so they may live long and happy lives, too.

Godspeed
